Tawakol first worked with Treffiletti at BlueKai, a big data marketing technology company, which was acquired by Oracle in 2014 and they continued working together on the creation of the Oracle Data Cloud. Prior to that Treffiletti ran Catalyst S+F, a strategic marketing consultancy that provided outsourced CMO and CRO services as well as served in a number of executive and entrepreneurial roles building successful companies, including i-Traffic, Freestyle Interactive, and Carat (Aegis).
