In 1998, Verizon published “Meetings In America,” a study that’s informed much of the conversation about workplace meetings for almost two decades. Respondents felt too much time and money went into meetings, but they were still hopeful of what was to come.
And guess what? Not much has changed!
While the hope was that continued technological innovation would make meetings better and more efficient, that just hasn’t panned out. In fact, a recent studies reveals attendees’ sentiments about meetings remain the same.
